Allowance Rate Increases

Dear Member,

The Ministry of Health has increased the rate for certain allowances contained in the Operational Ambulance Offices (State) Award. The changes came into place last week but will be back dated to 1 July 2016.

Due to new payroll system being in place & the various pay issues that have surrounded the system, APA (NSW) wants to ensure these rates are rolled over smoothly and backpayment is made without any issues. If you experience any issues with these payments that you are unable to resolve, please contact your local APA (NSW) Liaison Officer.

We are praised as heroes for our hard work, and in the same breath served a pay cut that will ultimately send our wages backwards.
