Dear Member,
Congratulations to everyone who over the last two weeks has stood up and taken action.
Not only did we see entire zones where almost every single staff movement was knocked back, we had many new Paramedics participate in industrial action for the first time, and our fight was represented in national media. Minister Hazzard fielded calls from journalists, and resorted to passing the buck, shamelessly claiming the issue was one for NSW Ambulance to deal with.
We wanted to get your thoughts on the industrial action, and on what we should do in the future. Later this week you will receive a link to take a survey on our industrial action.
We also wanted to remind you that our comrades on the frontline, nurses and midwives, are striking on Thursday. Click here to find your local rally. If you want, print out this poster to hold up at your local rally or stick on your station window!
In solidarity,

This week NSW Health provided us with their formal Award offer for 2022/23. The new award would provide Paramedics and Control Centre staff with a 2.53% increase (+0.5% for superannuation).
