Dear Member,
Yesterday, the unions received a briefing on the plans for the Homebush building layout. NSW Ambulance staff received similar
information via email.
Our delegates have raised significant concerns regarding the plans.
Of most concern are the layout of the dispatch and call taking staff on floor six, and the lack of clarity around having enough parking
spaces for all staff.
To be clear, APA (NSW) will not endorse any move until NSW Ambulance establish sufficient parking spaces for all staff. We will take
whatever action is required to protect the interests of our members.

This week NSW Health provided us with their formal Award offer for 2022/23. The new award would provide Paramedics and Control Centre staff with a 2.53% increase (+0.5% for superannuation).

APA (NSW) members have voted and have made it clear: we will not back down, and we will not be bought off with part-solutions. Industrial action will begin tomorrow, 18 June 2022, and continue until end of day shift 20 June.
